May Slow Session on Wed., May 18!

Tunes on the Eighteenth!

a tuesday night look at something to do with irish music
Hey Y'all!

We're holding our next Trad Irish Slow Session at Old Songs WED., MAY 18, 2022 if you are vaccinated (both doses), and preferably Boostered as well, and wear a mask.
The session is held on third Wednesdays at the Old Songs Community Arts Center
37 South Main St.,
Voorheesville, NY 12186
7:30-9:00 PM
Cost: $5 per person
Leader: traditional Irish fiddler Hilary Schrauf
We'll be in the big upstairs room and we will spread our chairs out. Feel free to bring a music stand. There are some available to use. Learning by ear is preferred but over the years we've found that using sheet music to give everyone a jump start helps tremendously.

Below you'll find the list of tunes for tonight, links to tune pages, and the three set lists we've been using. You're welcome to join us at 7:30 on Wednesday, April 20th to play tunes off of the list below.
Cost is $5. Led by Hilary Schrauf, Irish Fiddle.

Print these out from here: FOINN SEISUN BOOK #1 - pdf of the main tunebook we are using
As far as I know we're still requiring vaccination for individuals in the building, and masks are still required. I think as long as we give each other some room, our whistle and flute players can come back.

Kitty's Gone a Milking - reel
Shepherd's Lamb / Derrygallen Bridge - polkas
