Hey Y'all!

Gary M. has graciously agreed to lead the group tomorrow night! Thanks Gary!

A NOTE FROM JOY: The driveway and walks will all be plowed and shoveled for you all. PLEASE leave your wet boots and shoes on the carpets by either end of the wood floor outside of the main room. Mud and snow are murder on the wood the floor!  Thanks - Joy

Please consider bringing some slippers or indoor shoes to wear for the session.

As always, Gary and I will decide at 6:00 pm on Wednesday if we need to cancel due to weather and I will send out a notice to your email, place a note on the Old Songs Facebook Page, and one on the blog.

Hey music buddies,

We're cancelling for tonight. I just don't trust the weather. We'll see you in November on the 20th for our regularly scheduled session. It's a busy weekend though. Read on for more info:

1. there's a great concert scheduled for this Friday at Old Songs: Shannon Heaton (song, flute, accordion) and Keith Murphy (singer, multi-instrumentalist) perform on 10/19 at 7:30 p.m. Check https://oldsongs.org/event/shannon-heaton-keith-murphy/ for info and tickets! Hope to see you there!

2. the Northeast Tionol will be happening this weekend (Fri-Mon) at Gavin's Irish Country Inn in Durham NY. World class uilleann pipers, fiddlers and more. Classes, lectures, demos, concerts, and sessions. https://www.eastcoastpipers.com/ for more info. There are concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings in Gavin's Pub.

3. Albany CCE hosts its monthly meeting and session at the Capital District Irish American Association (Ontario St., Albany). Slow session begins at 2:30, followed by regular speed session at 3:30. https://albanycce.com/event/cce-session/ for more info.

Slow Session this Wednesday, Oct. 16!

We're back on our regular third Wednesday schedule for the moment! This Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. we'll be meeting somewhere in the building -- most likely upstairs in the main concert hall area - to play Irish tunes.

Old Songs Slow Session Wed., Sept. 25

Hey music buddies,

The September Slow Session will be held on the fourth Wednesday:  September 25, starting at 7:30 p.m. We will be downstairs. You may need to park in the old Stewart’s lot or on the street. The Contra Jam group will be upstairs.
